It is a misconception as to how long hair needs to be for an up-style. For some looks hair can be shoulder length. Even when growing your hair, trims are very important. Taking off the dead ends promotes healthy hair growth. Depending on how fast your hair grows, a trim should be scheduled every 6 – 8 weeks.
Another option, if the desired length cannot be achieved, is to use hair pieces or extensions. There are many natural looking options that can be incorporated into the bride’s hair.

If you are new to waxing, do not wait until the week before to try it for the first time. It would be recommended to start 3 – 6 months before the wedding. In this manner, you will have ample time to see how your skin reacts. Sometimes, depending on hormonal levels, there may be varying degrees of tolerance of the waxing.
Please keep in mind that if you plan on travelling to a sunny destination for your honeymoon, then you should wait a minimum of 48 hours (again depending on skin type) after waxing for sunbathing or excessive sun exposure.
The bridal hair trial should be scheduled 2 months before the wedding. This way the bride is sure to have all the details taken care of and she can focus on herself. Also, it is important that the bride brings her head-piece and a picture of her dress to her trial appointment, so the hair stylist can design a style that compliments her whole look.
Hint: Never switch stylist or colorist before your wedding. Schedule the makeup trial on the same day as the hair trial. When you have an elaborate hairstyle without make up on it may seem over done. It is common for brides to be unsatisfied with an up-style when bare faced. Once the makeup is applied and they see the whole look put together, they fall in love!
